The
quarterly electronic newsletter looked at how
Inmarsat's SwiftBroadband satellite connectivity is
used on airliners and business jets to provide cockpit
safety services, mobile phone use and broadband
internet.
It
involved researching and writing the features,
including photography where necessary.
Much
of the content came from events such as Inmarsat's
Aviation Conference (held in Munich) and
events, such as the Dubai Air Show or Farnborough Air
Show.
Steve
built up a wide base of contacts for Swift Express
and these also came in useful for other work, such as
the satcomms features for other magazines, including Arabian Aerospace, BART International and Inflight.
